FeeWise Integration Activation Guide for Support Teams
Overview
This guide explains how support teams or partners can activate FeeWise integration within Efimis. Follow the steps in order and ensure you have the required credentials before activating.
FeeWise is a legal-first payments technology platform designed specifically for law firms. Activating this integration allows clients to register for FeeWise, after which they can send and receive secure online payments
Integration Requirements
Before a firm can access the FeeWise registration page, the Payment Service Provider integration must be enabled.
If this integration is not enabled:
- The registration option will not appear in Billing Settings
- FeeWise setup cannot be completed
Prerequisite Required
The Payment Service Provider integration must be activated before proceeding with FeeWise setup.
How to Enable the Integration
To activate the integration:
- Contact Release Services
- Request Payment Service Provider activation for the firm
This is a backend configuration and cannot be enabled within Firm Settings. The Integrations menu is currently feature-flagged (hidden) and is not available in the front end. Contact Release Services to activate the integration.Accessing Integration Settings
- Navigate to Settings → Firm Settings
- Open the Integrations menu
All integration activation steps must be completed from the Integrations section.
Ensure you are working in the correct client environment before enabling any integrations.Activating FeeWise
- In the Integrations menu, locate Payment Service Provider
- Switch the toggle to the right to enable the integration
No additional configuration is required when activating FeeWise. Once enabled, the FeeWise registration page will become available for the client.Accessing the FeeWise Registration Page
After the Payment Service Provider toggle has been enabled, the firm will be able to access the FeeWise registration page.
Navigate to: Settings → Firm Settings → Billing → Payment Service Provider
From this screen, the client can proceed with the FeeWise registration process.
Registration must be completed and approved by FeeWise before the firm can begin accepting payments.Best Practices
- Request activation before starting billing configuration
- Allow time for backend setup to complete
- Confirm FeeWise is visible before rollout or training, If unsure contact Release Services to verify status.
If Payment Service Provider is not enabled, the FeeWise registration option will not appear for the client.
